Shut it.

People are now saying that Mario Williams isn't comfortable and some are even saying that he can't make the switch. I'm happily telling everyone you're wrong. Not only can he do this but he would have had at least one sack against the Jets on Monday. He ran a stunt to the inside on the play the Xavier Adibi got his sack and kind of gave up on the tail end instead of blowing up Ladanian Tomlinson and picking up the sack though. Not just that but seeing the attention he got from the Jets line in general. He gave up a sack and also allowed Adibi to utilize the gap he opened by going inside instead of trying to take the edge.

In all the things I've read about Phillips scheme I've never heard of anyone talking about what he does for his middle linebackers. Not any fan of San Diego and Dallas would know this but not many people do, and that's the fact that the scheme will drastically improve the play up the middle. The Chatters have and did have Shaun Phillips and Dallas has Bradie James. Both good players, but both have had there best seasons under Phillips. With Cushing this could be huge. Ryans is already a great MLB but Cushing has something to prove. And Phillips will use that to motivate him. He'll get more chances to blitz the QB and lay night hits over the middle playing in the 3-4.

When the Texans are lucky enough to play teams with sub-par offensive lines he'll dominate. And we do play a lot of pass happy offenses this year as well.

Anyway, review the video posted on the blog after this. Let me know what you think about Mario being lost.

P.S. Peyton Manning might miss week one cause of the neck surgery. Could he actually miss a start? And if so Mario will take out his anger from the haters out on Painter.
